Trying to Achieve Normal

I feel like we don't have much to say. We didn't go anywhere fun or exciting this past weekend. Instead we had a weekend of "normal" life. We took care of some stuff sound the house, went grocery shopping, and met some friends for dinner. But despite how mundane that is for a blog post, I think it was exactly what we needed. It's easy to forget that we live here, we aren't on vacation. While we don't want to put off seeing things and suddenly its two years later and we haven't been anywhere, we also want to try to establish this as home and to have a somewhat normal routine.

We did, however, venture out to a new store we had passed on our way to dinner on Saturday evening. The store is called Trust Mart. We walked in and noticed prices were much cheaper. They had bottles of mouthwash for $3, rather than the $8 we had seen at other stores. Phil decided to do some research on his phone and discovered that the place is a Taiwanese Walmart. They had lots of new products and lots that we had already seen, but at much cheaper prices. They also had some rather interesting products that I don't think would fare too well on the shelves of small Walmart, as the translation is a bit off.
